No Network Adapters Found

I posted on the malware removal forum but it does not seem I have malware.

I ran the Windows Repair program by Tweaking.com but it did not fix the issue.


Ever since a few days ago I have not been able connect to the internet.
All the networking drivers do not work (Code 31) and if I run the troubleshooter it says "Windows could not automatically detect this network's proxy settings"

I have always used my phone for tethering so I'm not sure what's going on.

 

What security software do you have installed? Your logs seem to indicate that AVG was uninstalled and you have McAfee installed.
Did the problems manifest around the time of the uninstallation/installation?
Have you tried reinstalling the drivers for your network adapter? You should be able to find the drivers at http://support.asus.com/download.aspx?SLanguage=en&p=3&m=K54C

 

If you can boot into Safe Mode, I would recommend running a Tweaking Windows repair. Though you removed the malware, there are still settings and software which may be corrupted.
