Hi folks i am a new user to computers so may be a little dumb when it comes to how the thing works. I have win xp sp2 my browser is IE7 and i have maxthon but have not learned to use that yet. my problem is that when i boot up for the first time each day i have a popup screen that says setup wizard has found new hardwear if you have a disc from your supplier please insert now, as i have no new hardwear i don“t understand ? if i press search it spends 3 or 4 minutes and then says no files found if i cancel it i have a popup on the tool bar "your new hardwear is not installed and may not work".
    can you help please

    Goto:

Start --> Settings --> Control Panel

    Double Click on System

    Click on the Hardware tab

    Click Device Manager.

Look through the list and see if there are any devices with Red or Yellow error icons and tell me here. These are hardware devices that are not installed or are disabled.

This is probably a modem. Do you have a Driver disc for the modem in your computer? It may be an onboard modem so you may need the mainboard disk for your computer.

Try putting the cd in the drive and allowing it to search again.

If you still have problem you can search for the dirvers on the manufacturers site.

If you STILL can't find it and have no use for a modem you can right click on it in device manager and disable it.

I don't think this is the problem.

Try disabling the device as descibed above and see if your bluetooth still works with your mobile.
