No sound coming out of my laptop Toshiba L350 Help

Hello everyone

My laptop won't play any sound what's so ever. I've tried troubleshooting it but it doesn't work I tried restoring my laptop but still no sound . I find my laptop useless with out sound. Help Please!!!

 

If there's a yellow question mark next to the name of the sound card in Device Manager, there might be a problem. Right-click the name of the sound card, and then click Properties. Click the General tab, and then look in the Device status box to identify problems with the sound card. If there's a problem, you might need to update the driver for your sound card.

Also, make sure you haven't Muted the sound.

 

It doesn't show ( Sound Card ) In my devices. I'd be more helpful if we could use Team Viewer or Skype please I really want to fix this ASAP!! Any recommendations ?

You may have the wrong setting.

Mine only shows Plantronics because I was making a call.

Yours should be main speakers.

 

You can also do a sound test - click Configure and make sure you have the correct setting for speakers and click each speaker in pic.

You should hear sounds from each speaker.

It would be really helpful if you got to do this yourself im not much of a computer guy. If you can please use like Team Viewer PLEASE!!!!

You can download this driver from Toshiba -

You didn't tell me the exact model of you comp, but you can enter yours if incorrect.

Click "sound" on left side of page and choose your driver.

 

This should be your driver.

How old is your comp?

Have you tried a full System Restore to factory specs?

 

This comp came with a Recovery Disc Creator - did you make one?
It also has an Hdd recovery partition.

You can easily go back to factory specs if we can't get your sound back.

Once we do that, you should take an image of your comp. which will allow you to get back to original good image without losing any info on your OS.

This is an easy program to use.

How to launch Recovery Option: Factory Defaults

If Windows isn't loading properly or if you just want a fresh start to get your computer working like it did when you first bought it, you can use the HDD Recovery Utility from outside of Windows to restore the system. Shut the computer down. Press and hold the "0" key and turn the computer back on. You'll see three options: "restore original factory image," "restore partition C:" and "restore image to C: partition with user specified size." Selecting the first of these three options will restore the L350 to its original configuration. Any of the options erases all the contents on your C: drive, including any personal files stored there.
