Hi. I had recently a major spyware annoying bubble which came with a blue screen that told me someone was spying on me and I needed to remove it by clicking the red bubble on my task bar. I finally removed it with Major Geeks help, which I'm thankful for; however, now I have no sound from my laptop speakers, I'm not even sure if the two are related but one is gone and the other appeared.
I'm no way near a computer wiz, I only know the basics, so I'd really appreciate someone's help on the subject. I've tried the basic microsoft help, the speakers volume,etc... with no positive results

    Thank you for your time.

    What is your computer specs?
Some things you can check or do:
    • Open up device manager and see if you have anything with exclamation marks.
    • Double click on the speaker in the bottom right hand side of your system tray to bring up the volume control. See if any of the mute checkboxs are checked.
    • If you have a driver disk, reinstall the sound driver.
    • Go to your laptop manufacturers web site and download a new driver and install.
