No sound help

    hi. I have absolutely no sound on my laptop. I can't even find the speakers where they are supposed to be.
    If I go into sound, speach and audio it says there are no sound devices and al the drop down boxes are greyed out.

    I have a Toshiba Equium... I think..

    Is this fixable?

    Thank you, thank you, thank you... thats worked prfectly.

    Now I don't suppose you could help with one more thing?

    Laptop is running slow and I tried a disk clean up. It goes through the process but doewsn't actualy delete anything. verytime I go back into it its stil got the am amount to clear.

    Once a month or so you should do some basic, SAFE maintenance to keep your computer running like new. I have a tutorial here:

    In short at least run CCleaner and defragment your hard drive. Removing startup items is HUGE because each startup item consumes memory on boot that you never get back. Any questions, let me know!
