No Sound

The first rig in my sig is not getting sound. At first I thought it was Linux OS but when I booted into win 7 no sound there either. I had sound before the computer would not boot, now ... no sound. I figure it's a hardware problem ... is it something the can't be fixed. It's part of the mobo and I do see any connectors.

I checked all my connections and power ... they are all good.

I don't know if this info about the system will help but here it is.

Yes ... but I think I can solve the problem getting a sound card.

 

In my bios ... the only option I have is to enable or disable the audio device ... I really don't see any option between the two. I know that after I installed the video card I still had sound. It went out after the malfunction of no video are boot.

I figure my best option is to install a sound card.
