No Sound :-(

Ive got a webcam (creative webcam) and when I do a test video the sound works...play it back and I can hear myself no problems.

However, when I go online and try to speak to my family on the other side of the planet they can see me but they cant hear me...which they might think is a good thing!

With creative webcam you go through yahoo and like I said visually its fine. Anyone any ideas why there is no sound?

Maybe THEY are not setup to receive your sound?

 

any ideas how you set it up to receive sound. Cant see any options for that..apoligies as Im not the most technically minded

 

Not right off hand Im not familiar with web cams....but what I mean is...Perhaps your family, who is trying to listen to you, has something turned off...from what it sounds like, everything in YOUR end is a go...its your family who has the issue with the sound?
