No text in safe mode

    Hi i'm having similar problems to a previous thread:

    I have attached the log from the farbar recovery scan tool. Please can you help. I'm running windows 7.

    The problem i have been having is that the computer continues to freeze when shutting down and logging onto windows. It also seems to struggle when Windows attempts to update itself.

    Please can you help!! Thanks!

    Welcome to Major Geeks!
    Not according to your FRST log. There is no malware showing. Are you sure that you cannot run at all in normal boot mode or safe boot mode? Are you getting blue screens.

    The only issue I see is that both Avast and McAfee may be present. And also Comodo Firewall is installed but there still may be parts or McAfee fireall. But these are not issues for the Malware Removal Forum.

    I finally managed to run it in normal mode but it continues to crash as soon as i attempt to change anything to a programme. I will post the question in another forum (not the malware)

    Have you simply tried using a restore point frombefore your problem began?
