No thumbnail for movie files.

Ok I dont quite remember when it happend cause I dont really have very many movie files, I was looking at my camera videos though and they dont have a thumb nail even when I put the icons to thumbnail. All it has is the little windows media player icon and the file name. So I go and look at some old music videos I know used to have thumbnails for and they dont either. Is there something that might have caused this? and if so how could I fix it the only thing I can think of doing was uninstalling some media player like real player or something of the sort. Thanks for any help you might be able to provide.

 

Click Start > Run, and type in: REGSVR32 SHMEDIA.DLL and click OK.

See if that does it.

It worked thanks a bunch. No more going through all those 100k123 trying to figure out what they all are lol.
