noadware highjacked background

Someone has hijacked my desktop and it seems to be connected with noadware

- Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

• Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis:

Downloading, Installing, and Running HijackThis

 

I have done all the proceedures required and still have the problem. I have uploaded the hijack this and activescan files as this was the only one that produced a result.

You are running HijackThis from a temporary location. Please reinstall HijackThis to a safer location. See Step 7 of teh tutorial for instructions on how to do this.

Follow the directions for Smitfraud, SpySheriff, SpyAxe & PSGuard Removal.

Post the Smitfiles.txt file and a fresh HijackThis log when done.

 

I have the Hijackthis in a number of locations but the best reference is in the Programs\HJT directory. I have deleted all the other downloads. Thanks for the help thus far.

 

I did the Smitfraud thing to no avail. I carefully checked all the entries provided but I still have the problem and I have been through the procedures in the read this first twice. What more can I (you?) do

Thank you so much for putting up with my failure to follow your instructions to the letter. I have run the Smitrem file and it has returned my desktop. I have attached the file hereto:

Thanks again and do I need to do any more? I mean apart from being a lot more careful and adopting your recommended anti-virus, firewalls etc.
