none of my antispy updates won't down load

    none of anti spy updates won't down load and i have like 3 programs of anti spy. i also keep trying diffrent thing and end up hurting my computer even more. if i dump this computer and try reinstalling windows xp will the spyware and anything else malciouce still be in my computer

    A format will wipe everything from your drive, so that would kill it. A easy solution if you have your data backed up or dont have anything to save. I am concerned about what programs your using, typically 3 are not needed. I would suggest Microsoft Anti-spyware and maybe Ad-Aware or Spybot. I am pretty careful surfing and all day long and am safe only with Microsoft Anti-Spyware.

    how would you make a recovery disk if i did want to format my computer. or would it just be easier to send it to the shop.
