nook color and movies

got my daughter a nook color what is the best way for me to put some of her movies on it , I have a micro sd card for it , the formats it uses are 3gp 3g2 mp4 m4v and ogg tried to convert a dvd using dvdfab to mp4 video was fine but no audio , any ideas appreciated

 

I would get the N2a card from n2acards.com to make it a android. It will open it up to being able to do a lot more, than the limits that Barnes & Noble has set on it. You can get the microSD card running N2A up to 32gb for $80. I have the 16gb and love it.

 

I'm trying the N2A route with my Nook, but it still wants to boot up in the old Barnes & Noble OS. Anybody else have this issue?

 

Did you make sure that you ordered the correct card from N2A for your Nook? They will exchange the card, or send you a link to download the image, to burn for your correct Nook. Go through the N2A forums, and they will help you out. They have retired two of the Nooks, the Nook Color being one of them. Now you just have the two Simple Touch, and the two HD models.

Go to https://www.n2acards.com/forums/ sign in with your username & password that you used if you purchased through N2A Cards. Otherwise, they will ask for some simple info, and allow you to access the forums. The mods are great over there, and will be quick to resolve your matter.

 

Thanks! I bought my own sd micro card (type 4, as specified by N2A), and bought the downloadable version. I can't be the first person who's run in to this, so I hope there's a solution. I'll head over to the forum...

 

You are not. Most likely you got the wrong version of software. If you still have the download on your computer, they may ask you for the file name info and date.
