i built a computer with 2.93 celeorn D mushkin ram green line 40gb hdd cd rw i have a abit is7v2 turns on no video tried 2 card with no cpu same results no flashing or beeping and no ram has beeping

 

Sounds like the RAM you have may not be compatible with your board.

 

I'm assuming this has never worked in the past...

Did you make sure that all of the jumpers and or dip switches are where they should be according to the mobo manufacturer's guide?
Have you tried to clear CMOS?
Reseat your RAM? Ensured that it's in the proper slot on the board?
A PCI video card if you've only used AGP, and vice versa?
Booted with only a video card, RAM, and the CPU? Also unplug the mouse and keyboard! I've seen PS/2 mice and keyboards cause a PC not to display any video.

....It's also very likely that you've shorted out your board, or the RAM controller (could't think of the proper name for this - I forget) on the board is effed.

 

well theres been alot of reviews on this about faulty boards someitmes the replacment was faulty i will send it in and get a replacment thank you though ram is compatible both i re seated ram and reset bios when i turn it on screen turns a lighter black
