Normal Mode internet-busted

Ok I searched through the previous posts and none of them seemed to help.
I had a virus so I followed the procedures. Then my internet stopped working. I'm guessing its either a corrupt internet explorer or something with the firewall. I can go on the internet using safe mode w/ networking but I cannot go online in normal mode. I tried system restore. That worked for a bit but then it stopped working. (I don't know why it stopped working. I tried 4 system restores now).
I also downloaded the winfix from major geeks and that didn't work.
I also searched online and typed this under CMD
netsh winsock reset catalog
and
netsh int ip reset reset.log

that didn't work. I know it's not my internet since I'm using it right now under safe mode...
I dunno what else to do. I'm sorry if I'm double posting but I can't seem to find the solution. Thanks for your time.

Hi

You need to continue with your Malware removal thread as loss of internet can happen when you start to remove malware, so quite normal, just need to finish the process of removing malware as trying to fix a network issue while malware is still on the PC, will have you going around in circles.

So just await the responce to your logs in your malware thread but remember not to Bump the thread as you will end up at the back of the work queue
