norton and mcaffee

ok so i just reformated and it comes with norton and mcaffee:O

whats the best way to fully remove both of these

You can use the Norton Removal Tool which uninstalls all Norton 2007/ 2006 /2005 /2004 /2003 products from your computer. The steps differ depending on what product you have.

You can also go to mcafee.com and download and run the McAfee Removal tool which can be found here. McAfee Consumer Product Removal tool (MCPR2.exe) removes all 2005, 2006, and 2007 versions of McAfee consumer products.

Important Note: This McAfee Removal tool is not compatible with Microsoft Windows 98 or ME.

What about those who still have Windows ME? (yes I know it is ancient, but until an upgrade is possible it is all I have....

Any news on how to remove McAfee from this edition and resolve the Internet Explorer freeze issue??
