Norton Antivirus Corporate installation error

    Good day,
    Having trouble with installing NAV corporate eddition on a XP Pro machine.
    After initiating setup.exe, it goes thru expanding file and then gives "parameter not set, Setup can not continue" error.
    So, I downloaded a free AV (Avira), and installed it. No problem.
    However, I need to use NAV on this XP machine. What could cause this and what can I do?

    If it is not networked ...(you install the corporate software on the server) ...then you lonly want to install the client software to the individual machine.

    Tim,
    Obviously it will act as server. Give me some credit, wouldya?
    Anyhow, NAV corp can be used as single client (running as server mode) even without the network. Actually, it works great. I've had it on my home machine for years and it does its job.
    Now, does anyone have any idea on how to solve the problem please?
