Norton AV server rights in Zone Alarm??

    I have Norton AV 2005 and Zone Alarm pro with Win XP sp2. I keep getting a Zone Alarm alert the Norton AV is asking for server rights. I know the rule of thumb is to never allow server rights but I am concerned that Norton will not work properly if I don't give it server rights. Can anyone advise?
