    Hello,

I recently got a new hard drive (500gb sata 2) and currently have a 150gb sata 2 drive. I looked inside my box, and it looks as if their is only 2 sata-2 drive plugins, one goes to my current hd thats installed, and the other goes to my cd/dvd drive.

I would prefer to use both my current and new hard drive to have a combined 650gb but it does not look possible (if you know a method please let me know)

ok, and now for the software question, I have used Hirens boot disk previously which has norton ghost 11.5 on it and backed up my ubuntu drive image with no problem.

I tried again but am running windows 7 now, and it does not seem to be working, any ideas? or can anyone recommend a program to use that will make an image of my hard drive, so i can switch my drives and put the image from my old hard drive onto the new one so there is no loss of data using a windows 7 os? I have an external western digital drive (320 gb) i ussually use to back up the image from the internal hd.

any information or help is appriciated, thanks
