i have never used this before and i just wanted to ask some questions before i go out and buy it, about 2 months ago i did a computer upgrade (processor, ram, motherboard) whih means i had to make a reformat and start over, i saved all needed data to an ext hdd, but still things like the way i have the start mmenu setup, or programs installed and setings all that gets lost

if i had this program would i be able to make a bootable disc that could install everything right back to the way it was?

and if thats a no, then just what does this do?

I use both Ghost 2003(pre-Norton product) and Acronis True image v8. For my money, Acronis is the more dependable and easier to use program, at least in those versions.
Ghost sometimes gives me errors when it is verifying my image so I have to spend a few hours burning a few more CDs. I've not gotten a verify error with TI.

Before you buy Norton, look at Acronis and compare the features.
