norton internet security and "normal" norton

i have Norton internet security for first time, i used only "normal" norton until now. This NIS dont have anymore Worm protection, he have now Personal firewall, intrusion prevention and spyware protection (i think this Spyware protection was on "normal" norton too or was a part of worm protection?)

Usually when i play games i disable the antivirus but i keep worm protection because i minimize the game to search some (safe) forums. Now what i should keep from these 3 new things in Norton internet security, Personal firewall, intrusion prevention or spyware protection? i dont want to keep all enabled when im not surfing. I mean wich is the correspondent of Worm protection in Norton internet security? because this was good, blocking many stuf.

 

Personally, I never disable any of my protection programs. Why would you want to disable them? You won't be protected if they're disabled. As a side note, just because you're not surfing doesn't mean anything, it's being connected to the world wide web.

 

hehe i was sure about a answer like this but anyway i dont want to keep all up, my connection isnt so good and these can slow etc

 

The best solution to this is to use something that uses a litte less resources. Norton uses quiet a few resources which causes lagging and other slowness issues. I personally use Avast! AntiVirus with Comodo Firewall and they work well together and use few system resources.
