norton problem

    hi , i was messing around and knock out the ccapp.exe file from the startup menu and now my norton anti virus wont work i unstalled and reinstalled the program but nothing seems to work. i think it is something in windows i need to do but i am not sure can anyone help :)

    I have NAV 2002. I don't even have that file on my machine. I have Win98SE.

    thanks for the information , i was playing around with easy cleaner program and looked in the startup menu , seen a file i didn't reconize and deleted by mistake , i have norton 2005 in which this file is required

    i tried to redownload norton 05 and selected my startup it still didn't work it must be a corrupted file in the download, i will try customer svc at norton , unless anybody has a suggestion

    I never used easy cleaner. Doesn't it have a backup function?
