Norton Symantec, continue use?

    So I have a lifetime copy for serving in the Coast Guard (XP version only, no vista compatability).

    My question is should I continue to use this program? The reason I ask is because I also have a vista laptop that runs AVG and this antivirus program runs great. From what I have noticed Symantec really slows down my XP computer too.

    What is recommended?

    As always, MG is the best, be a member for years and will continue to do so.

    You should never run two anti-virus programs. I would suggest that if you have AVG and are satisfied with it you can eliminate Norton.
