not a valid Win32 application

When you ran MGTools.exe, did you get any error messages? Did you fail to agree to the user license for HJT?
If you did get an error message, see this: Using MGtools

Let's also do this:

Open notepad and copy and paste the following text in the quote box into the window:

Doubleclick fix.bat and let the program run.
A small black dos window will flash, this is normal.

One of the logs is not showing your files....let's try this:

download The Avenger by Swandog469, and save it to your Desktop.

* Extract avenger.exe from the Zip file and save it to your desktop
* Run avenger.exe by double-clicking on it.
* Do not change any check box options!!
* Copy everything in the Quote box below, and paste it into the Input script here: part of the window:

* Now click the Execute button.
* Click Yes to the prompt to confirm you want to execute.
* Click Yes to the Reboot now? question that will appear when Avenger finishes running.
* Your PC should reboot, if not, reboot it yourself.
* A log file from Avenger will be produced at C:\avenger.txt and it will popup for you to view when you login after reboot.

Also delete all files in the below folders except ones from the current date (Windows will not let you delete the files from the current day).
C:\WINDOWS\Temp
C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Local Settings\Temp

Now run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it. Then attach the new C:\MGlogs.zip file that will be created by running this and also attach the log from Avenger.

 

You have some left over files from having avast at one time....we need to remove them.
You also had many cracks downloaded which were full of malware.

Did you install Remote Administrator?

I also suspect that AVG removed files for your Media Player ---> you will probably just need to reinstall it.

Lets do this next:

Now go to Bitscan link: agree to the license and then select Scan. DO NOT CHANGE THE OPTIONS TO SHOW ALL FILES SCANNED. That will make your logs huge and we don't need to see clean files. Once Bitdefender completes the scan:

Click-on the Detected Problems tab. Then select Click here to export the scan report

When the window comes up to save the report, change the Save as type: box to Text (Tab Delimited) (*.txt) and then in the File name box enter change to bdscan then click save. This will save a file named bdscan.txt in whatever folder you are currently in when you save the file (take notice of where you are at so you can find it later). This bdcan.txt file will actually contain HTML code that we can easily view later while reviewing your log. All we have to do is rename the file to bdscan.html.

 

You are going to have to take up the issue with your cd burning in the software section.

The keygens and cracks that you had downloaded were the source of your infections. You may wish to change your surfing and downloading habits.

Let's start by removing some services!

* Click on Start, then Run ... type services.msc into the box that opens up, and press 'OK'.
* On the page that opens, scroll down to avast! iAVS4 Control Service
* then right click the entry, select Properties and press Stop Service.
* When it shows that it is stopped, next please set the Start-up Type to 'Disabled'.
* Now repeat the above to Stop and Disable the below two Services (if you do not find them or get any errors, just continue):
* avast! Antivirus
* avast! Mail Scanner
* avast! Web Scanner
Click OK until you get back to Windows.

Now Copy the bold text below to notepad. Save it as fixME.reg to your desktop. Be sure the "Save as" type is set to "all files" Once you have saved it double click it and allow it to merge with the registry.

Now re-run both SAS and MBAM and attach the logs.

Other than the Nero issue, are you having any other malware issues?

 

How to uninstall our software using aswClear.exe:

1. Download aswClear.exe on to your desktop
2. Start Windows in Safe Mode
3. Open (execute) the uninstall utility
4. If you installed avast! in a different folder than the default, browse for it. (Note: Be careful! The content of any folder you choose will be deleted!)
5. Click REMOVE
6. Restart your computer

 

We still are not getting any files listed in the ShowNew log....

Let's do this:

That was not the log from Trend Micro.

Since your shownew files are empty:
choose the download below which is appropriate for your system and extract the files into the default folder which will be either C:\Windows\system32 or C:\Winnt\System32 depending on how you installed windows. Do not extract the below fix files to the MGTools folder as it will not help to fix the problem that way.

• For Windows XP Pro: download and run XPproFix
• For Windows XP Home: download and run XPHomeFix

Now after you do that, go to start / run / type in C:\MGTools\ShowNew.bat

when that finishes do the same for C:\MGTools\GetRunKey.bat

Attach the resulting Newfiles.txt and Runkeys.txt logs.

Tell me what errors you get from doing the above, if any.

Much of your problems are not malware but system issues:

Try going to the run box and type in :"sfc /scannow" without quotes and have your xp cd handy....run it twice.

You are not showing malware issues according to Trend micro...but a lot of sucurity issues.

At this point I would suggest you do a repair install.....see if that gets you running correctly and then maybe we can look at the other issues.
