    Hello all,

I am having an issue installing xp onto a machine with a foxconn A7GM-S board. When installing XP, no matter if it is home edition, professional, 32 or 64 bit, the installation always crashes at the screen where it is installing windows components(the screen where it says 35 minutes remaining, with the blue background). I have tried multiple XP disks to no avail.

The strange thing about this issue is that Windows 7, Vista, and Fedora or Freepsire(any version) installs and works fine.

I have tried 4 different hard drives, a 250gb, 1TB, 160gb, 320gb. The 160gb drive is IDE and the other are all sata. I have tried different cd-rom drives, different xp disks, different IDE and sata cables, a different power supply and none of this fixes the issue.

It is very strange because XP was installed on this very machine only 2 months ago.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated
