I have tried many times to install the new version of Java to no avail.
I've cleaned the system up, deleted all previous versions, ran the scans, ran JavaJRE program and no file were found. Nothing seems to work. Any ideas anyone?

Thank you for the tips. Tried JRE before posting my question and again this morning. No joy. Can someone tell me what subdirectoties should be present when installing Java? At the moment my path is just Program Files\Java.
I have deleted all subdirectories after that. Is this correct?
The error I am getting every time is: http://java.com/en/download/help/wizard_interrupt.xml
I can see about 5 bars of update appearing and that is it. I have tried to disable the firewall and Avast but it doesn't help. Last Friday I had a error on my computer:

Could this be anything to do with it?

Did you use This Method to remove old version(s) ?

If you haven't already, try the Offline Installer

I have managed to solve the problem by reinstalling backup. Thank you everyone for input.:)
