    Hello.

I was using Firefox when I suddenly heard "your computer is infected call this number."
Wasn't sure where it was coming from, so I shut down Firefox.
There also appeared to be what looked to be a Microsoft Security Essentials alert.
When I ran a quick scan on Microsoft Security Essentials, it came up clean. But in the history section, I noticed the following:
Microsoft Security Essential: History > "All Detected Items" > Rogue: JS / Fake Call. D
    Alert Level: Severe
    Action Taken: Quarantined

Also this message: “The following error occurred:
Error code Ox80508023. The Program could not find the malware and other potentially unwanted software on this computer.
    Category: Trojan”

I have not removed the item yet.

Ran TDSSKiller - "no threats found"
    HitmanPro – “no threats found”
Ran Mgtools.exe and the Mgtools Bat, but they both seemed to "hang" at "Running analyse.exe"

Should I go ahead and have Microsoft Security Essential delete Rogue: JS / Fake Call. D?

I am enclosing the logs for
    1) Malwarebytes (mbam)
    2) Rogue Killer (ran it with the 32-bit version, as I was unable to find the 64-bit version)
    3) TDSSSkiller
    4) HitmanPro
    5) MGTools

    Thank you in advance!

Your logs are clean. Yes, you can delete your quarantine files. Are you having any other issues?

    Thank you so very much!
I have removed the quarantine files.
No, there doesn't seem to be any other issues. So is it safe to go back to using Firefox? Have been using Chrome since that item was detected.

    Thank you again!

Yes, you should be safe to continue using Firefox.

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware.
    2. Renable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it in step 4 of the READ & RUN ME.
    3. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis. If you don't see it or it will not uninstall, don't worry about it. Just move on to the next step.
    4. If running Vista, Win 7 or Win 8 or 10, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Now goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click ( if running Vista, Win7, or Win 8 Right Click and Run As Administrator ) on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    6. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    7. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
