Not sure if this is the right place, but My Control Panel is blank

Control Panel Iin vista is completely blank. I have found you on the internet but I can not reply to the post where I found you. What other information would you like from me? Everything else on my laptop seems fine except when I click on Control Panel in Start, the window pops up but no control panel icons! Please help!

Hi, thanks for your help. I didn't think I had malvare cause my computer is running fine I can browse the web and everything. I looked into the microsoft site that you recommended and they suggested to update windows to the newest service pak I have that because I get all upgrades automatically. I did find a solution on the internet here http://annoyances-resolved.blogspot.com/2009/11/vista-control-panel-not-coming-up.html and this actually solved my problem at least I was able to get the control panel back.
