not sure where to post ipod/computer

Hi, I have my music for my ipod on one laptop. I would like to change it to my new computer and sync my new computer with the ipod.

Does that make sense?

How do I do this... can someone tell me this in a step by step talking to a dummy kind of directions?

do you use Itunes? I assume so.

here is a pretty simple walkthrough I found online. I have not read all the way through, so if you run into any difficulties, post back and I'll try to help.

The link documents how to change the location of an Itunes collection. To change it to a new computer, its pretty much the same, but you must have the computers connected over a network and share the folder you want to move it to. I recommend doing this on a wired network rather than wireless if possible so it will transfer faster. Alternatively, you can use an external hard drive to move the music, or burn the collection to data DVD(s)
