the HD is a little small but i plan on using a external HD..(7200/160GB) through USB (or firewire) would this be alright for playing games?..how is the Graphics card and should i upgrade the memory to a GIG for 116 more(do i really need it)? also is the prosessor alright for games(like Halflife2/doom3/farcry- At Med-Low) settings?

 

size of the screen is nice, the grhpx card is weak; but the price is nice. can you get a better video card with it? try for a 2ghz processor? That processor is outdated, the new one is 533mhz FSB in 1.6 / 1.86 and 2ghz flavors.

 

Also, forgot to mention that if you buy the computer with bare minimum ram, ussally 256mb you can buy 1gb for dirt cheap on places like newegg.com and do it yourself. Just be sure to talk to a customer rep what type of ram DOESN'T null your warrenty.
