Notepad Document Was Saved As A Ms-dos Application

sometimes this happens and i wonder why and if i can convert it back

its not a lot of words just a few but its annoying

 

i would just try to change the file extension...
go to rename the file and change the ext to what you want.

also, one thing i always do on windows computers is to go
to folder options and make sure file extensions are always shown, never hidden.
otherwise, one is dependent on windows interpreting the true nature
of a file, and, at times, i want to be able to judge that for myself.

so that @ is the reason then

makes no sense to me
