Nothing Seems To Work To Print

As I am disabled, and on a fixed income, this is really not a possibility for me.

 

I meant a family member, friend or neighbour.

 

I've spoken to several (3 or 4) others since the first of the year, and their eyes seemed to glaze over even more than my own. Though I suppose it's possible my tech descriptions/explanations need work as well.

Sadly, I've noticed over the past few years, in dealing with "techie" people, that there seems (often) to be an assumption, that EVERYONE knows (or damn well SHOULD know) a certain amount about these things, and then become angered when they realize that I really do not.

It could in large part be my age (60's), however, I literally do not know personally know ONE other person who has any interest in these things at all.

I'm in my 70's so you in your 60's are a youngster.

Do you have a router? If so, the chances are 99% that your printer and chromebook are on the same network.

I gave a link for a small program to run on your computer. Run it. If you see the chromeboo and the printer, then they are on the same network and yes, it gives the IP of EVERYTHING on your network that is turned on.

 

If both the printer & the Chromebook are using the same SSID & passphrase to access the internet then they’re using the same network.
