Personally I have a hard time with the deep southern accent. I used to have a major customer in Georgia, who chewed also. I dreaded him because Southerners like to open with small talk, hows the family..wife, and so forth.

Anyway I would sit there with a stupid grin on my face and he would start talking and I would nod and laugh politely when he asked something like what's the weather like in Wisconsin?

I always had my food broker with me and he literally would have to act as a translator!

That is English to English.

 

Sometimes Google Translate can be used as a proxy on idiotic school filters since it doesn't exactly get the attention of the sysadmins.

 

At my school you can change http:// to https://
but not all website support ssl, but there are proxies that do!

 

Doesn't work at ours. Also Google Cache is blocked.

 

I was in multimedia class, trying to figure out how to do something, and I googled it and every site was blocked. Other students were online playing some weird game where a girl strips down to her underclothes.
