NTUSER and NTUSER.dat help?

    I read the Read and RUn first. After using an Avenger program, I went to the place where a desktoptrojan.win32.blackbird used to be, i came up with two new files, NTUSER and NTUSER.dat. I probably misinterpreted the forum i got the fix from and find myself in a worse bind. I need some help.

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

    What forum are you referring to and what fix? You should not be using tools like Avenger on your own for reasons just like this. Are you trying to say that you used Avenger on your own and deleted those files? If so, restore them from the backups Avenger creates. You will most likely need to boot to the Recovery Console using your Windows boot CD to do this. This is a topic for the Software Forum not the Malware Forum since malware is not root of your problem.
