numeric keypad to alpha characters

    Not 100% sure which forum this question falls into... sry if this isn't the right place.

    I was wondering if there is a way to reprogram a numeric keypad to certain alpha characters?

    example: change (1) to (D), (2) to (R), (3) to (P) and so on....
