    Here is his reason:

Basically, he overclocked the heck out of it, then tried using different heatsinks, which helped a little, but not by much. He is an honest OC'r who will not RMA something that was damaged by OCing.

Honest OCer? http://forums.majorgeeks.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif Blowing 500$ on my card either way, I would still RMA it. By the looks of his shop and what not, he was just looking for an excuse to get a new vid card. From the point the video card starts out at 500$ then a year later its 100$. That means I was being over charged 400$ just for availability/how new it was, not because it costs them that much to make. Most of the parts over the years don't change in price range (maybe by a couple of cents the silicon/memory modules go up), So why not RMA it if its covered under warrenty? Silly silly, "i'll buy a new car since my radiator busted, i know it was covered by warrenty but i didnt care to service it."
