Ok, I have an audition for the NYWO (National Youth Wind Orchestra) two weeks tomorrow, just got back from London to hear a message!!!
I'm cacking myself!!!!!

Also, got some good pictures from Greenwich today, one that some of you may be interested in, particularly star

I play the Bb Clarinet and got my grade 8 last decemeber (with distinction I might add too )

The only Woodwind type instrument I played, was the Recorder at school. More like 'Plastic Wind' class, actually.

Well looks like I'm not gonna be in it this year, just had my audition and it went awfully

 

I am sorry to hear this Mcadam. Are you sure or do YOU think you just didn't have a good audition?

If, in fact, you didn't get it this year, it was a good experience to help get prepared for next year.

Never be discouraged about a bad performance at an audition. They KNOW that you are nervous. It's good experience. If you REALLY didn't get in, at least you tried.
