NZB newsreader

I'm sorry if I describe this badly, but it's all new to me.

I followed advice which directed me to a site (nzbmatrix) which would enable me to search for and download media files.

The site apparently indexes NZBs, which I've never heard of but is some sort of file format - which when used with a NZB-capable newsreader, enables distributed parts of a single file to be retrieved from newsgroups and reassembled into a single file.

So, can anyone recommend a suitable NZB-enabled newsreader?

Personally I have never used anything like this so I cannot advise a good program.
