I had been experiencing periods of consistent hard drive activity. I followed all steps in your Read Me First document (Windows XP) and this has helped a little bit.

Would it be possible to review the attached logs and see if I have missed anything that might be causing my system problems?

Any help you can provide will be appreciated.

    Sincerely,

    Jonathan

    I'm not seeing any malware.

Why do you still have these installed:
    LiveUpdate 3.0 (Symantec Corporation)
    LiveUpdate Notice (Symantec Corporation)

Your hard drive activity could be normal for the programs you have ...things that run in the background. Have you defragged your hard drive lately?

You also may wish to use a startup manager.

If you have further questions ..you may want to post in the software section.
