Odd/Annoying Connection problem!

Hi Guys...

I'm really hoping someone can help me here! I've been having this annoying problem for a few days. I'm using a broadband highspeed adsl wireless connection, Linksys E3000 router within excellent range (full bars always), and am using a Dell Studio 1537 studio and have both the built in Dell Wireless 1510 card, and I also have a D-Link DWA-130 adapter, and this problem exists using either adapter.

I did a speedtest on speedtest.net and I have the following : Download speed - 4.92mbs (although I've seen it at 17mbs with the same problem), upload speed 0.98mbs. I am able to ping websites like yahoo.com in my cmd prompt.


Right now I have windows firewall turned off and am not using any other firewall programs or anything like that.

I am running Windows Vista Home Premium SP2

So I'm able to connect to certain websites sort-of consistently, for instance i can go on google and search something, but clicking on most of the results links will either take a VERY long time to connect to, or I'll get a connection time out error. Some sites eventually resolve after I refresh await enough times, some never do.

I thought that it was possible that my connection may be dropping in and out, but I put this to the test last night when I was able to skype with a friend for more than 4 hours, see their webcam feed flawlessly and they said they found the same experience with mine. I started trying to browse while I was skypeing and still got the same kind of errors.

If it makes a difference, my ISP is TekSavvy www.teksavvy.com and I'm in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on Band 2
