Odd Issues With Internet Connectivity

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone might be able to help me figure this out. My PC is doing this thing where, sometimes, when I try to go to a website, it will momentarily (for like a second) display (in Chrome) the "This site can't be reached" page... and then proceed to connect to the website perfectly fine without any intervention on my part. This happens in Microsoft Edge as well, so I don't think it's a browser issue.

This is probably related: I teach, and I use MyLab Math. The issue seems somehow worse with MLM; when clicking to the Assignment Manager or Gradebook, or many other sections, for the first time within a course, or after being idle for a bit, each of those pages will display an error message about not finding the IP address, which will not go away until I click the same link a second time, loading the page normally.

These issues don't seem to happen on an older laptop (Mac, using Chrome) that I use on my WiFi network (same network as PC, but my PC is wired), which is leading me to think it's something with the PC itself. I've checked for loose wires and stuff, but the issue seems to be too consistent (at least as it's happening on MyLab Math, it's somewhat random elsewhere) to be blamed on some sort of physical issue like that. Maybe not.

The computer this is happening on runs Windows 10. It's a CyberPowerPC Model: C Series.

I've tried troubleshooting the issue, but the PC doesn't come back with anything. I've considered malware, but scans with Windows Defender come back clean.
