    Here’s another puzzle Guys,

I’m running Small Business Server 2003 to which is connected a number of laptops either by wireless or cable or sometimes both.

    Considering only my laptop…

After booting up my laptop and opening Windows Explorer, sometimes when clicking on the “Network” folder I get a full list of all connected computers and the server – That’s OK.

But sometimes I get only my computer listed and try as I might I can’t persuade Explorer to list more than that. BUT mapped folders work OK.

Sometimes the mapped drives have little crosses against them but if I click on them the cross disappears and I can access the mapped folder. In these circumstances if I attempt to open the front end of an Access database programme it complains that it can’t find the data files on the server. If I then go to Explorer and click on the mapped drive where the data resides it opens up the folder and the Access programme can once more see the data files.

Has anyone any ideas about what could be the cause of my laptop randomly choosing to connect properly to the domain or connecting in only a strange way?
