Odd problem with Task manager

    I'm not sure when this started, but whenever I call up the task manager, it isn't displaying properly. It shows the running processes, but there is no menu bar, and the cpu usage and system displays are not present either. I'm a little confused about this, as nothing else seems to be wrong...some help or advice would be much appreciated.
    I am using windows xp pro, with SP2

    It's running in kiosk mode.Double clicking within an empty border of task manager will get your tabs back.
