Ode to the spell checker

Eye halve a spelling chequer,
it came with my pea sea.
It plainly marks four my revue
miss steaks eye kin knot sea.

Eye striker Quay and type a word,
and weight four it two say
weather eye am wrong oar rite.
It shows me strait a weigh.

As soon as a mist ache is maid,
it nose bee fore two long,
and eye can put the error rite,
its rare lea ever wrong.

Eye have run this poem threw it,
I am shore your pleased two no,
it's letter perfect awl the weigh.
My chequer tolled me sew.

I first saw this about a year ago and was amazed at how fast I could read it - even the first time. We have amazing brains.

I know this is the lounge, but this thread is SO old!

 

My copy of Microsoft Word comes with a grammar checker, but I never get a chance to use it. Both of my grammars are dead already.

This seems to be getting more common with people dragging out old threads. Perhaps threads with the last reply more than a few months old should be lock out or closed?
