Just a quickie...
How can I find out if my NB uses OEM?
It won't boot, is there a dos line I can exe. to reveal this?

 

NB? It's stated on the COA.

Right the Windows sticker, I was just being Jerky since you had "NB" I figured we all talk in code.

The Windows COA sticker will plainly state OEM. If it is store bought and not loaded in some backroom, it will be a OEM.

I've looked on the bottom of the net-book & this is what I found.
I don't think it says OEM at the end, but the sticker looks genuine... and old. rolleyes

 

It's a brand name system builder's OEM. It has the manufacturer's name imprinted on the COA.

 

Cheers dude, I was swotting up earlier on a MS page.
The only sticker I've got is on the back of the NB, it looks genuine.
I left a photo att. with the last post. It says Windows home edition (ULCPC)
I still can't get the damn thing to boot tho'.
