Office 2000 PoP Up

Just lately when i go onto some websites i get a pop up saying something like.Windows is configuring Office 2000.please insert CD,i have no cd and have Office 2003 on my pc,Running Windows XP,the pc is about 7yrs old.when it pops up i just click cancell,i found Office 2000 in Add Remove Programmes,so i uninstalled it ,after that my Word or Exell would not work so i did a system restore to get them back working.Is there anyway to stop this pop up.Thank You.longlegs

 

You might try a MSI install fix or http://support.microsoft.com/mats/Program_Install_and_Uninstall

Also backup then clean your registry with CCleaner.
