Office 2010 language input

I have recently installed Word 2010 and Korean Language Pack for Word 2010 on my computer. I also have imeKO installed. I have XPsp3 OS. I am not able to input data in Korean Language only English. Is there anyone out there who can help me?

 

In the taskbar, can you see the IME-KO? Can you switch between KO and EN (by using Alt+Shift keys)? In the IME-KO, can you toggle between Han/Eng?

 

P.S. if you can do all the above, what exactly happens when you try to input Korean text?

 

I cannot switch from Eng to Han with either the imeKO or Alt+Shift Keys. In other words at present I can use Eng only.

 

The Alt+Shift keys will toggle between EN and KO; does that work?

Once you are in the IME-KO mode, do you see the A character on the right of the KO indicator? If you hover the pointer over it, does it show a balloon 'toggle between Eng/Han'? Does it switch to Han when you click on it?

If that still does not work, can you post a screenshot of your Regional Options | Languages | Advanced panel (where the languages and keyboards are shown)?

 

When the imeko is set to KO and I click on the box w/"A" the keyboard switches to Hangul.

Word 2010 may have some even more advanced features for Japanese/Chinese/Korean input, but I do not know much about it. You may find more information on the Korean Microsoft Office website http://office.microsoft.com/ko-kr/word-help/.
