Office Outlook 2007

I cannot open my deleted folder. I can open all other folders, inbox, sent, junk... When I click on the deleted folder, I get the following error message Detete the messaging interface has returned an unknown error, if problem persists restart outlook I have restarted at least 6 times. At the same time, in the second column where the deleted messages would normally show up, I get... Cannot display information there is either a problem connecting to the server or an error occurred try starting microsoft outlook again. I can receive and send emails, so I would assume that I am connected to the server. I tried calling my internet provider and they say that they do not support Outlook 2007. I have had Outlook 2007 for since it cam out and I have not had this problem before.
