Offload Graphics from processor to Video card

    I am trying to get my - Dell 4600 XP home, pentium 4, 2.6 Gig, 2.5 Gig RAM to run better with True Space 7.6 3D renderer. Could offloading the graphics to the Nividia GE Force 5200 card help? How is this done?
    Also, would it help to speed up the processor by adjusting the BIOS? Don't know how to do that either!
    Any help appreciated.
