Before you sstart pointing and laughing, yes I know I'm an idiot. So I was maessing around with random stuff on my computer, and decided to pu my IP into the search bar at the top to check out my router...one thing led to another and...well, my internet gateway is messed up for some reason. I don't even know what I did. I have no CLUE what to do...anyone got any ideas?

There should be a small button on the back of the router that will reset it back to defaults. This will also get rid of your password, so make sure you make a new one for the router. If you messed with the settings on your PC you might try setting up a new network connection, and delete the old one.

Sounds like what Fred_G is mentioning. A system restore won't do anything for the router.

It may take more than a reset if its a wireless network or DSL router/modem, however.

Post your router model and brand.

Thanks for the help, I really appreciate. I pressed the button and tried to make a new connection. Whenever I go to network connection, add new connection, and go to the networkin wizard, it just ends up using the original connection. I think it being wireless is making it more complicated.

Hate to bump, But checking to see if this can be fixed or if I should get a new router or something.

Are you talking about using the Windows network connection wizard, or the one in the Belkin router set-up CD? You should connect your computer directly to the router with a CAT5 LAN cable for the initial set-up, then deal with getting your wireless connection working once you can access the router directly.
