Oh, hey!

Just thought I'd drop by - I was in bed and just finished listening to the last episode ever of the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy - and decided it was high time for me to come by these forums and pay my long-lost (and hopefully found again) friends.

That said, the last time I saw an MG member I got extremely drunk with and woke up in central London with the worst hangover ever. But I shan't hold it against them

For those interested, I'm now at a different university (University of Kent, Canterbury to be precise) doing an altogether more geeky subject than before (Computer Systems Engineering). Well, right now I'm at home as it's Easter break. And I've got a job doing helpdesk for Information Services at the university, where they've trained me in configuring wireless connections, vpn connection, removing spyware and viruses and the Library of Congress cataloging system. Yes, I have to work in the Library too.

Anyway, there's a little update from me. That's what I've been up to for the last ... year Now I've just got to catch up with all you lot.

 

That happens here quite frequently.
Without ever seeing them, just chatting to them. LOL

Good to see new and old faces I'll try to stick about but I'm pretty busy these days. Hopefully I can put my knowledge to good use again here.

 

I remember the smell of Hops when driving through Kent well . Nice to see you again, Goldy. I see your studies and work is going well.

Hi Goldy, a bit of a coincidence but my partner Caroline's son is at Kent Uni in Canterbury he's studying Forensic Science. Small world!
